Safeguarding and Prevent
At Prospect Training Services, we strive to ensure that every learner and staff member is treated fairly and equally , and we want them to feel safe and valued. Wellbeing and safety are of paramount importance to us; this is part of our ethos and is a commitment that is shared across our organisation.
Our safeguarding and child protection policy and procedures are there to ensure we protect and support those at risk and enable them to work towards a more positive future.

We take our responsibilities under the prevent strategy very seriously; we aim to identify those at risk from radicalisation and follow procedures to ensure the individual receives the right level of support and intervention. We work in partnerships across Gloucestershire and the South West to safeguard those who are vulnerable to the risks of violent extremism, and we are a proud member of the Prevent South West Forum.
The key objectives of our policy are to:
- Promote a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment for all learners, staff and visitors
- Actively promote good health and wellbeing for all
- Identify those at risk of harm early, offering a tailored approach to safeguard and support them
- Work in partnership with other organisations who share the same commitment to the safeguarding of our learners
If you are a parent or carer, we have created a Safeguarding and Prevent newsletter to bring you up-to-date information and advice on safeguarding.
