Why Our Staff Love Working Here
At Prospect Training Services, our team isn't just talented - it's committed. Many of our staff have been with us for years, which says a lot about our supportive culture and the high morale we nurture every day.
What makes our work truly rewarding is seeing the impact we have on our learners and adults. Our goal is simple: to help people progress to better opportunities and brighter futures. Whether it's moving into part-time or full-time work, starting an apprenticeship or pursuing further education, our learners achieve milestones that are life-changing and our staff get to celebrate every success along the way.
Here, your efforts don't just make a difference - they shape futures. Helping others succeed has never felt more fulfilling.
“I love working at PTS because staff have the autonomy to really get things moving and make appropriate changes that improve outcomes for our customers or learners. We are a local but international company, and that brings exciting opportunities, but at the same time, the heart of my role has remained the same, and I like that consistency. It has enabled me to develop my knowledge base and skills and really settle in, so I feel very much part of PTS.”
Sarah Munday, Digital Project Coordinator and IQA
“I have worked at Prospect Training Services for twenty-three years; what makes me really appreciate that long period of time with the company is the fact we now have young people starting whose parents I remember teaching! One of the exciting elements about working here is change and how, as a member of staff, you are supported to achieve anything you want! The team is like a jigsaw with so much expertise in different areas; we have a wealth of knowledge and information. If I can’t immediately help someone, there will be someone who can! I am proud to say that the young person is at the centre of everything we do.”
Sally Cope, ESOL Engagement/Support Tutor and GCSE English Tutor
“At PTS, they give every learner a chance - some of them have never had that opportunity. While they are on a work placement, they are happy, which is good to know. Yes, sometimes there are struggles but the successes outweigh that. If it helps them to progress or even think about their future, that is a start. If they had not come to PTS, they would probably be doing something they don't enjoy. The job can be challenging, but it's really rewarding when things work out.”
Kath Chapman, Careers and Work Placement Coordinator
“I cannot believe it has been 25 years since I first started my working journey here at PTS. When I first started, my role was to collect time sheets from customers, which was quite a challenging one as you can imagine, and I learnt a lot about the customers very quickly! I remember wondering if the job was going to be right for me; well, that thought didn’t last for long, and 25 years later, I am still here! I can honestly say I still love the job and enjoy the challenges it presents! Things have definitely changed over the years, and I have seen a lot of staff come and go and have been very privileged to work with some wonderful people that have really had an impact in my life. Thank you all so very much for making my journey so special.”
