Prospect Training Services (PTS) is looking for a lively, energetic and passionate tutor to join the team. We need a full-time tutor to deliver Entry Level to Level 2 Functional Skills English and Maths to a range of learners including young people with high needs.
As an experienced and qualified Tutor, you will work with our learners to support them in achieving their qualifications. Your ability to contextualise teaching and learning of Maths & English will be the key to your success. You will be experienced in developing your own curriculum against standards, with a can-do attitude to manage your own workload. Applicants need to use innovative methods to make the delivery of these subjects' fun and engaging. Good time management and planning skills are essential.
Applicants should, as a minimum, possess a teaching qualification at a minimum Level 3 Education and Training or above and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics. You will possess empathy for working with young people, strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate accomplished classroom management.

- Self-motivated, able to work to performance targets and KPIs
- Excellent time management
- Good general level of ICT skills including Microsoft Office
- Experience of working with Entry Level to Level 2 range of young people
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum plus pension and healthcare.
