Who we are and what we do
About us
At Prospect Training Services , we're a family-run organisation committed to helping young people and adults achieve meaningful progress through high-quality, personalised training. We believe learning works best when people feel supported, understood and encouraged to reach their full potential. That belief shapes everything we do. We work with individuals at all stages of their journey — from young people taking their first steps into learning, to adults returning to work or developing new skills. Our flexible, responsive approach means we tailor support to real needs, not one-size-fits-all solutions.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to make learning and personal development accessible to everyone. We provide high-quality, practical and innovative training that helps people gain skills, build confidence and reach their potential. We believe in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone is valued and respected. By working closely with individuals, communities and organisations, we aim to create positive change locally, nationally and internationally.
Our Story
1997 — Prospect Training Services (PTS) is founded. Empowering people and transforming communities for nearly 30 years, PTS began as a small initiative to support pregnant teenagers and young mothers (now known as NCLP) and has grown into a nationally recognised programme - one that not only shaped support across the UK but also became the first standardised programme for the Ohio State Department of Education in the United States.
2006 — NCLP becomes a separate not-for-profit Community Interest Company. Based in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire, NCLP develops and delivers accredited and non-accredited educational, parenting, childcare, personal and social development, work skills and healthcare programmes, notably 'Parents to Be', 'Parents with Prospects' and 'Caring for Children'.

2011 — The Q Club opens in Quedgeley, Gloucester. Our centre offers a range of facilities, including a friendly café that provides homemade cakes, paninis and snacks and a variety of tea and coffee choices and a spacious hall that is used for party hire, other community organisations and our students at PTS. For the children, there is a soft play area with puzzles, toys and entertainment to make sure everyone is happy.
